Author Talk: Maria Termini — Available Details
Maria Termini presents her memoir *Available Details: Wonder, Adventure and More* in a local author talk at the Boston Public Library’s Jamaica Plain location. Termini will read from the book, which brings together 31 stories drawn from her varied life experiences and encourages readers to pursue their own dreams with curiosity, wonder, and joy.
Her stories span childhood stamp collecting and a fascination with *National Geographic*, single motherhood and financial limitations, travel to Morocco and Sicily with her twin sons, life in the White Mountain National Forest, carpentry work in Hawaii, the Peace Corps, and hiking the Appalachian Trail. Other experiences include discovering gold at age nine, volunteering to play Lady Godiva at 20, learning figure skating at 50, and finding inspiration in Boston’s public schools.
