Book Arts Open Studio
Book Arts Open Studio is a hands-on, self-guided gathering for anyone curious about book arts or currently working on a bookmaking project. Participants can bring and show favorite work, exchange ideas with other book artists, seek advice, try unfamiliar techniques, practice challenging methods, or begin a new project using the studio’s book templates and kits.
Museum staff and volunteers are available to offer assistance, while the studio provides reference books, book cloth, endpapers, offcuts, waxed thread, a guillotine paper cutter, board shear, book press, and other tools and materials.
