The Big Lebowski in 35mm

The Coen Brothers’ *The Big Lebowski* screens in a 35mm presentation as the closing film of the venue’s fall Cult Cinema Tuesdays series. This offbeat comedy-thriller follows Jeff “The Dude” Lebowski, an unemployed bowler whose life is disrupted when mistaken-identity thugs steal his prized rug. Determined to recover it, The Dude becomes entangled in a strange quest involving bowling, avant-garde art, nihilists, and a larger mystery.

The film stars Jeff Bridges, Julianne Moore, John Goodman, John Turturro, and Steve Buscemi, and has become a lasting cult favorite.
