Perfect Memory is an installation by Boston artist crystal bi, presented in the ICA’s Bank of America Art Lab. Inspired by the ICA’s waterfront setting and the role of water in Boston’s past and future, the work invites visitors to consider how water and the memories it carries can help us imagine and create what comes next.

Visitors can also make a floating sculpture using bamboo, clay, and other natural materials. The activity is inspired by crystal bi’s floating installations and encourages participants to honor the people and experiences that shape their identity and their hopes for the future. The artist will meet visitors on Sunday, November 8.
