Nostalgia, A Harvard Undergraduate Cinematheque Program
Nostalgia is a Harvard Undergraduate Cinematheque program exploring how cinema evokes, shapes, and reimagines the past. Curated by current Harvard students under the supervision of Harvard Film Archive Director Haden Guest, the series draws on the archive’s collection to present a varied selection of vintage film prints. Programs are introduced by members of the Harvard Undergraduate Cinematheque, and the series includes a silent film accompanied live by an undergraduate musician.
The Harvard Undergraduate Cinematheque was founded in 2021 to give students hands-on experience in the art and craft of film programming. This season’s lineup ranges from classic Hollywood and European cinema to later international films, with every screening presented on film.
