A Holiday Evening with Marc Roberge and Jon Lampley of O.A.R. brings an intimate, stripped-down performance to City Winery Boston. Marc Roberge, the singer, songwriter, and guitarist who fronts the multi-platinum rock band O.A.R., performs reworked O.A.R. songs, selected covers, and personal stories in a more conversational solo setting. Jon Lampley joins him for the holiday evening.

Roberge’s solo work highlights the lyrical and roots-oriented side of his songwriting, drawing partly on the traditions of country and folk troubadours. The performance also reflects the personal storytelling that has been central to his music since O.A.R. formed in 1996, replacing the band’s full-scale energy with a more intimate presentation.
