The Notebook
The Notebook is a musical adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’s best-selling novel and the film it inspired. It follows Allie and Noah, two people from different social worlds whose love endures across a lifetime, even as circumstances and outside forces threaten to separate them. The production is presented as an emotional portrait of lasting love, combining romance with original songs.
The musical is directed by Michael Greif, known for Dear Evan Hansen, Next to Normal, and RENT, and Schele Williams, whose credits include The Wiz and Aida. Ingrid Michaelson wrote the music and lyrics, Bekah Brunstetter wrote the book, and Katie Spelman created the choreography.
