Jessie Mazin, Anya True

Jessie Mazin and Anya True perform at Sonia in Cambridge, presented by The Middle East. Mazin is a singer-songwriter whose emotionally expressive vocals and sharp, socially aware lyrics move between intimate personal subjects and political themes. Her musical influences include Joni Mitchell and Phoebe Bridgers, combining folk songwriting with atmospheric alternative textures.

Mazin began writing on ukulele before teaching herself guitar and sharing her work online. Her audience grew through platforms such as TikTok, where her acoustic, direct style created an immediate connection with listeners. She has since expanded her sound through studio work and collaborations with producers including Carlos de la Garza and Adam Melchor.
