Late Nites
Late Nites is an after-hours Museum of Fine Arts, Boston event combining music, dancing, art-making, gallery conversations, exhibitions, food, and community. Presented with stay silent, a New England organization rooted in diasporic hip-hop communities, the evening transforms the MFA into a late-night house party featuring DJs, creative activities, photography, and opportunities to explore the Museum after dark.
Guests can hear R&B, Afro House, Lusophone, Cape Verdean, and other genre-spanning sounds; make ceramic pendants, sketch in the galleries, browse regional publications, and join conversations about works in the collections and exhibitions. The event is open to guests of all ages, though alcohol purchases are limited to visitors age 21 and older.
