Trav & Sky

Trav & Sky is a New England songwriting duo featuring Travis Richard and Schuyler Whelden, known as the primary songwriting team behind Miss Fairchild’s pop-funk and The Bold Type’s garage-soul. Their Sanctuary performance presents their newest songs and musical experiments, drawing on influences ranging from Leon Bridges’ rhythm and blues to the country folk of the Avett Brothers and the soulful pop of Lake Street Dive.

Richard and Whelden have written and performed together since high school and have collaborated with many of the region’s leading musicians. Trav & Sky released their debut single, “Way Home (feat. Lakeline),” in March 2026, followed by a four-song EP titled *And* in April.
