Jon Butcher Axis

New England Music Hall of Famer Jon Butcher brings the Jon Butcher Axis to TCAN for one of the band’s final performances. After 47 years of playing venues ranging from Boston clubs such as the Rathskellar, Bunratty’s, and The Channel Club to 20,000-seat arenas, the group is closing out its history with a select series of 2026 shows.

Butcher will perform with longtime bandmates Chris Martin and Marty Richards, revisiting classic Axis songs including “Holy War,” “Life Takes a Life,” and “Ocean in Motion.” The band has toured with Def Leppard, Rush, The J. Geils Band, The Scorpions, and INXS, and built a strong New England following through MTV videos and intense live performances. Butcher is continuing other projects, including work with Diane Blue and Guitar Monsters with Johnny A., but this performance offers Axis fans a final opportunity to see the group together.
