Goodnight Moonshine Featuring Molly Venter of Red Molly!
Goodnight Moonshine brings together Red Molly vocalist Molly Venter and producer, guitarist, and songwriter Eben Pariser for an Americana-centered full-band performance. Their music combines Venter’s expressive, smoky singing and introspective songwriting with Pariser’s adventurous guitar work, broad harmonic vocabulary, and improvisational sensibility.
Venter is known for her work with the acclaimed female vocal group Red Molly and has performed at festivals and events including Denmark’s Tønder Festival, California’s Kate Wolf Festival, and the Cayamo music cruise. Her Goodnight Moonshine writing explores inner life, acceptance, love, exhaustion, and the pressures of modern life. Pariser began as a blues guitarist, studied jazz at Oberlin Conservatory, and has performed with Roosevelt Dime and Red Molly while producing nine studio albums for himself and other artists. His influences include Django Reinhardt, Ry Cooder, and Bill Frisell.
