Kelsey Waldon
Kelsey Waldon brings her Americana and country songwriting to Club Passim, with Candi Jenkins opening. Waldon’s music draws on hard-won experiences with addiction, grief, generational trauma, recovery, and self-acceptance, themes explored on her album *Every Ghost*. The nine-song record was recorded at Southern Grooves in Memphis with her band, The Muleskinners.
Waldon signed with John Prine’s Oh Boy Records in 2019 as the label’s first new artist in 15 years. Her work has led to headline tours, festival appearances, and invitations to perform with artists including Tyler Childers, Charley Crockett, Robert Earl Keen, Margo Price, and Lucinda Williams. She has also been named a Kentucky Colonel and was featured in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s 2024 *American Currents* exhibit.
Candi Jenkins is an emerging roots singer-songwriter whose work combines traditional country, Appalachian bluegrass, and Americana. With family ties to Canada and southeastern Kentucky, Jenkins draws deeply on her Appalachian heritage. She has opened for Clay Street Unit and Andy Frasco, appeared at South by Southwest in 2025 and Luck Reunion in 2026, and is recording her debut album with producer Andrija Tokic at The Bomb Shelter.
