The TUNEabomber
The TUNEabomber is a darkly comic two-person musical about Ted Kaczynski, known as the Unabomber, appearing before a parole board and retelling his life in song. The show imagines Kaczynski trying to prove that he was never meant to be a monster, but rather a star, turning his history of explosives and notoriety into an intentionally absurd musical-comedy premise.
Written and performed by John Lampe and Michael Wysong, the production asks what might happen if the notorious eco-terrorist were reimagined as the next Bob Fosse. The show is performed monthly in New York at The Reverie Room and is presented at The Rockwell as an 18-and-over event.
