Drop into Art – November
Drop into Art – November invites children, caregivers, and adults to explore the art of coil pottery through a hands-on clay activity. After viewing Margaret Tafoya’s *Wedding Vase* and other ceramic works in the Danforth Art Museum’s Permanent Collection, participants can learn to roll, stack, and join coils of Model Magic to make a one-of-a-kind vessel without using a pottery wheel.
Part of the museum’s monthly Drop into Art series, the program encourages discovery, invention, improvisation, and shared creativity. Each month features a new theme and project, with activities designed for people of all ages to create together.
