The Bad Plus

The Bad Plus comes to The Sinclair for the group’s farewell tour, offering one of the final opportunities to see the influential modern jazz ensemble perform live. Known for combining intricate compositions, improvisation, precise rhythms, and high energy, the band has also earned acclaim for inventive interpretations of rock and pop songs.

Formed more than two decades ago, The Bad Plus gained international attention in the early 2000s and released acclaimed albums through Columbia Records and Nonesuch. The group has collaborated with Joshua Redman, Wendy Lewis, and Bill Frisell, among others. The band has announced that it will dissolve after its current tour, making this performance a particularly rare final appearance.
