Jamison Cloud: the excavation, and a return
Jamison Cloud’s *the excavation, and a return* is an installation exploring identity, home, movement, and belonging across cultures and histories. Working with print, handmade paper, and installation, Cloud creates two- and three-dimensional works that reflect the artist’s navigation across different spaces and cultural contexts.
For this presentation in the 301 Frame Gallery, handmade paper serves as a container for questions about selfhood and cultural heritage. The works hold traces of personal experience alongside impressions of the environments that shape a person’s sense of place.
