Ida Zecco & Jim Rice
Ida Zecco and longtime musical collaborator Jim Rice present “A Song for the Season,” a holiday performance built around selections from Zecco’s widely sold CD, *A Song for Christmas*. The show combines polished seasonal music with comedy, theatrical storytelling, and the warm rapport of two artists who have worked together for more than three decades.
Zecco is an actor, singer, comedian, director, producer, coach, and educator whose performances blend music, theater, stand-up comedy, homespun humor, and heartfelt stories. She has created and performed several one-woman shows, including *Estro-gin and Tonic* and *Thanks for the Mammaries*, both of which have played to sold-out audiences in New England and around the country. She is a recipient of the Independent Reviewers of New England’s Best Female Vocalist award.
Rice is a conductor, music director, arranger, pianist, and singer. His credits include conducting the European tour of *Phantom of the Opera*, serving as assistant conductor for international tours of *Man of La Mancha* and *Camelot*, and playing piano for the European Broadway production of *Grease*. He has performed throughout Europe, across the United States, and in every state except Hawaii, and has worked with Tony Award winners including Peggy Cass, Victoria Clark, Helen Gallagher, Joanna Gleason, Debbie Gravitte, and George Hearn.
