Swinging Steaks

Featuring: Swinging Steaks, Jim Larkin

Swinging Steaks bring their Boston-bred blend of rock, country, and roots music to Sanctuary’s Main Hall. The band helped shape the Americana sound after signing with Capricorn Records in 1993, and their debut album, *Southside of the Sky*, was widely praised as a landmark in Boston country-rock. After more than 30 years, eight albums, and countless performances, they remain known for energetic, charismatic live shows driven by tight harmonies, strong musicianship, and the enthusiasm they share onstage.

Their latest release, *YoYo*, was co-produced by Boston rock veteran Dave Minehan and features songs from the group’s three principal songwriters. Swinging Steaks have toured or performed with acts including Los Lobos, The Band, and The Black Crowes. The event page also highlights Boston-based songwriter and sideman Jim Larkin, whose extensive credits include work with Jesse Dee, Danielle M, the Glory Junkies, Brothers McCann, Spotted Tiger, and the Ryan Fitzsimmons Band, as well as performances with Jack Johnson, Al Green, Lake Street Dive, the J. Geils Band, Martin Sexton, Maceo Parker, and others.
