i Sebastiani presents "Orazio Betrayed"

i Sebastiani presents “Orazio Betrayed,” an improvised commedia dell’arte comedy in three acts. The troupe brings to life a play that has never previously been performed in English and has not been staged for centuries, using a plot outline written approximately 400 years ago as the basis for improvisation.

Doralice is in love with her neighbor Fabrizio and has no intention of marrying anyone else. Her father, Dottore Graziano, however, has secretly promised her to a stranger. The comedy unfolds when the prospective bridegroom, Orazio, arrives in town and the performers improvise what happens next.
