KBLIC Drop-In Notary Services

KBLIC Drop-In Notary Services provides walk-in document notarization at the Kirstein Business Library & Innovation Center in the Central Library. No appointment is required; visitors may arrive during the scheduled notary hour.

Bring completed documents, but do not sign them until you are in the presence of a notary. All signers must have a current government-issued photo ID, and visitors must provide their own witnesses when documents require them. The service can notarize documents in English only.

Appointment: No appointment is needed.

Requirements: Forms must be complete except for the signatures that need notarization. Do not sign beforehand. Each signer must bring an up-to-date government-issued photo ID, such as a passport, driver’s license, or state ID.

Witnesses: If a document requires witnesses, visitors must provide them.

Certified Copies: For certified copies that need notarization, bring the original documents as well. Photocopiers are available for public use at Boston Public Library locations.

Language: Documents can be notarized in English only.

Accessibility: Disability accommodations and language services may be requested through the department listed in the event’s contact information. At least two weeks’ notice is requested to arrange accommodations.
