Featuring: Punch Brothers, Chris Thile, Chris Eldridge, Paul Kowert, Noam Pikelny, Brittany Haas

Punch Brothers bring their boundary-pushing acoustic music to Boston in a performance presented by the Folk Americana Roots Hall of Fame. Formed by mandolinist Chris Thile in 2006, the Grammy-winning group combines bluegrass, folk, classical, and other string-music traditions with intricate arrangements and highly virtuosic playing.

The band’s current lineup features Thile with guitarist Chris Eldridge, bassist Paul Kowert, banjoist Noam Pikelny, and violinist Brittany Haas. Their repertoire includes material from albums such as *Antifogmatic*, *Who’s Feeling Young Now*, *The Phosphorescent Blues*, and *All Ashore*, which won the Grammy for Best Folk Album. Their 2021 album *Hell on Church Street* reimagined Tony Rice’s *Church Street Blues*. The group’s seventh album, *The Unsung Adventures of Punch Brothers*, is scheduled for release on July 24, 2026, and includes original compositions alongside arranged traditional songs.
