Brian Patton – Broadway Hump Day
Brian Patton’s Broadway Hump Day invites professionals, rising stars, aspiring singers, and showtune enthusiasts to an evening of sing-alongs, open-mic performances, and more. Brian Patton provides piano and vocals for the event.
A singer, pianist, and coach, Patton has performed throughout the Northeast and New York City for more than 20 years. He graduated from the Hartt School of Music in West Hartford, Connecticut, and pursued graduate studies in music education at Central Connecticut State University. His vocal group, 16th and Savoy, regularly performed at Don’t Tell Mama in New York City, while his IRNE Award-winning At the Movies group presented musical revues with regular appearances at Boston’s Scullers Jazz Club.
Patton has also accompanied Broadway actress Jackie Hoffman in her one-woman show The Kvetching Continues at the Boston Center for the Arts and led the onstage band for Joan Rivers’s appearances at the Wilbur Theatre in 2007. More recently, he was hired as artistic director to develop and direct a series of cabaret performances through a collaboration with CONCORA and TheaterWorks.
