Duke Levine and The Super Sweet Sounds of the 70s return to the Lizard Lounge for an instrumental journey through the music of Levine’s youth. The band revisits a wide-ranging era when songs associated with The Lord’s Prayer, Strauss, Isaac Hayes, and Charlie Daniels could all appear in the Top 40, performing familiar tunes alongside lesser-known selections and songs some listeners may have hoped to forget.

The all-star ensemble is led by guitarist Duke Levine, with arrangements spanning guitar-driven sounds, lap steel, keyboards, bass, percussion, and drums.
