Opera Cambridge: Down in the Valley
Opera Cambridge presents *Down in the Valley*, an opera inspired by Kurt Weill’s affection for traditional American folk music. The work follows Brack and Jenny, whose love story is ultimately doomed.
The production reflects Opera Cambridge’s mission to bring lesser-known operas to wider audiences, make great opera accessible at reasonable prices, and create collaborative performances featuring ethnically diverse and gender-diverse artists. The company works with both emerging and established singers, directors, and crew.
