Lyle Brewer “Learning Curve” Album Release

Lyle Brewer returns to the Lizard Lounge for the release of *Learning Curve*, his 13th solo album. The Massachusetts guitarist and songwriter blends fingerstyle, jazz, and folk into instrumental music that emphasizes composition, melody, and storytelling as much as technical skill.

The album features 10 reflective songs influenced by Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, The Beatles, and Antonio Carlos Jobim. Brewer performs on both nylon-string and electric guitar, creating music intended to communicate its ideas without lyrics. He is also a Berklee College of Music professor and has performed as a sideman with artists including Lori McKenna, Ryan Montbleau, and Neighbor.
