Information Session for Adult English Learners
This informal information session is for adults learning English who want guidance, support, and opportunities to practice. Members of the Boston Public Library’s Literacy Services team will explain how to register for grammar classes, describe free conversation groups for practicing speaking and listening, and answer questions about local programs and resources.
The session is intended to provide information and connections rather than formal instruction. Additional suggested resources include the City of Boston’s Adult Literacy Initiative, the Massachusetts Adult Education Help Desk, Literacy Resources for ESOL Learners, Mango Languages online learning software for library cardholders, and information about obtaining a library card.
