Know Your Lemons! Breast Health Education for Early Detection
Know Your Lemons! Breast Health Education for Early Detection is an educational talk led by Kelly Morrow McCarthy, a breast cancer survivor and certified Know Your Lemons educator. Using the familiar image of a lemon from the global Know Your Lemons campaign, Kelly will explain the 12 signs of breast cancer and help attendees recognize changes that may warrant attention.
The session will also cover how to perform a proper breast self-exam and how to determine an appropriate screening plan. It is presented as a welcoming, judgment-free conversation about a topic that is often easy to postpone but may support earlier detection.
