Shut Up & Write!
Shut Up & Write! is a welcoming, community-based writing session for anyone working on poetry, fiction, a thesis, or even an unfinished email. The Brighton chapter offers structured, distraction-free writing time designed to help participants overcome procrastination, quiet their inner critic, and make steady progress.
The session is not a critique group or reading. Participants may share their projects and discuss successes or challenges, but no one is required to read or show their work. The Brighton sessions are led by a local community member trained as an organizer by Shut Up & Write!
