Information Session for Adult English Learners
This informal information session is for adult English-language learners seeking resources, support, and opportunities to practice. Members of the Boston Public Library’s Literacy Services team will explain how to register for grammar classes, introduce free conversation-practice groups for speaking and listening, and answer questions about local programs and resources.
The session is intended for questions and connections rather than formal instruction; it is not an English class. Attendees can also learn about additional citywide and online options, including ESOL literacy resources, the City of Boston’s Adult Literacy Initiative, the Massachusetts Adult Education Help Desk, and Mango Languages, which requires a library card.
