The Bowery Presents: Bedouine with Other Delights

The Bowery Presents brings Bedouine with Other Delights to the Arts at the Armory for an evening of intimate, emotionally resonant folk music. Bedouine is the musical project of Azniv Korkejian, whose songs explore family, upbringing, childhood, and the desire for the sense of safety every child deserves. The material was shaped in part by a visit to her family in Saudi Arabia and combines vivid, personal imagery with gentle, lilting folk arrangements and fingerpicked guitar.

Bedouine’s songwriting and understated melodies have received praise from Pitchfork and Rolling Stone, and she has appeared on NPR’s Tiny Desk and toured with Fleet Foxes and Father John Misty.
