The Mail/Wood & Bone/Objects in Motion
The Mail, Wood & Bone, and Objects in Motion perform live at the Lizard Lounge on November 19. The lineup brings together Boston and Massachusetts artists working across folk rock, alternative, Americana, roots, folk, soul, blues, and indie music.
The Mail formed in Boston in 2016 from a shared interest in sonic experimentation and storytelling. The band features Jeremy Van Cleave, Joe Campbell, Nathaniel Diamond-Jones, Matt Hines, and Curtis Hartshorn. Their sound combines introspective lyrics, distinctive fiddle, inventive guitar voicings, deep bass, and expressive drumming. Their debut album, *Lights On*, was released in 2018, and the group is known for emotionally immersive recordings and energetic live performances.
Wood & Bone is a Massachusetts-based Americana roots band led by singer-songwriter Jesse Joseph. Its rotating collaborators include core members Joe Wilkins on guitar, mandolin, and vocals; Dennis Monagle on drums and vocals; and Dylan Sullivan on bass and vocals. The band blends soulful singing, earthy grooves, and improvisational energy while drawing from folk, soul, and blues.
Objects in Motion is a Boston-based original indie group associated with a reinterpretation of early-1990s shoegaze.
