Grateful Tuesdays

Grateful Tuesdays features Dead Ahead, a high-energy New England band rooted in the music of the Grateful Dead. Their performances combine Dead classics, deep cuts, original songs, soaring harmonies, extended jams, and grooves influenced by Little Feat and The Allman Brothers Band. The band’s improvisational approach, medleys, unexpected turns, and changing setlists ensure that no two shows are alike.

Dead Ahead is led by husband-and-wife guitarists Ryan and Sonya Rae Taylor. Ryan is known for virtuosic guitar work and masterful slide playing, while Sonya Rae contributes as a singer, guitarist, and former Nashville staff songwriter. The ensemble also includes drummer and vocalist Alex MacDougall, keyboardist Justin Lopes, bassist Matt Caporale, guitarist and vocalist Joe Peck, and percussionist Brendan Tommaney.
