Passim Monday Discovery Series

The Passim Monday Discovery Series showcases emerging artists in an intimate setting for an audience of dedicated music listeners. This installment features sisters Ada Arwen and Micah John, performing together as The John Sisters. Their music combines close vocal harmonies, tender twin-guitar arrangements, sad songs, rocking fiddle, and upbeat traditional material.

Micah John is an award-winning fiddler, guitarist, and singer who has spent much of her life involved in New England and East Coast music. Ada John is a young multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and songwriter whose performances draw on an unusually mature musical sensibility. Together, the sisters seek out overlooked sensitive songs while also writing original material.
