Writing Your Personal Narrative
Writing Your Personal Narrative is a welcoming writing workshop led by Judy McClure for anyone interested in shaping life experiences into personal essays. Sessions use writing prompts, published essays, themed writing periods, and group support to help participants generate new work, practice revision, and experiment with ways to tell personal stories. Writers of all experience levels are welcome, including former participants who want to continue developing their work.
McClure is a Roslindale-based writer and educator whose creative nonfiction explores nature, relationships, education, and identity. She is a graduate of Grub Street’s Essay Incubator and teaches in Boston, Arlington, and New York. Her work has appeared in WBUR’s Edify, 805LitMag, Miniskirt Magazine, and other publications.
