Geoff Tate
Geoff Tate presents *Operation: Mindcrime – The Final Chapter*, a concert centered on Queensryche’s landmark 1988 concept album. Tate and the current Operation: Mindcrime lineup perform the album in its entirety, from beginning to end, continuing the theatrical presentation that has made the *Mindcrime* tours a defining part of his live work.
Tate is a Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum singer and songwriter who spent more than three decades as the creative force and lead vocalist of progressive metal band Queensryche. The band has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide, toured in over 50 countries, and earned four Grammy nominations. Its early releases—including the self-titled 1983 EP, *The Warning*, and *Rage for Order*—each achieved gold status. The success of *Operation: Mindcrime* was followed by *Empire*, which reached the Billboard Top Ten and produced the hit “Silent Lucidity.”
The concert’s featured album is a politically and socially conscious story of rock, revenge, and redemption. Tate and Queensryche previously performed the original album and its 2006 sequel, *Operation: Mindcrime II*, together in full as an elaborate stage production. In 2025, Tate and Operation: Mindcrime began touring the original album as its “final chapter,” bringing the complete concept story back to the stage.
