Shut Up & Write!
Shut Up & Write! is a welcoming, focused writing session for anyone working on a creative, academic, or everyday writing project. The Brighton chapter is part of a global community designed to help writers overcome procrastination, quiet their inner critic, and make steady progress alongside other writers.
The session combines informal introductions with an hour of uninterrupted writing time, followed by an optional chance to discuss accomplishments and challenges. It is not a critique group or reading, and participants are never required to share their work.
