Maria Mazzotta

Maria Mazzotta brings the pizzica traditions of Southern Italy to the Tempo Stage at The Platform. A celebrated vocalist from Italy’s Apulia region, she spent 15 years performing internationally with Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino and is now recognized as a leading voice in European music.

Her repertoire connects Mediterranean traditions with Balkan melodies, shaped by extensive research and respect for the cultures behind the music. The event page also features video performances of Mazzotta at FOX 5 in New York and globalFEST 2026, as well as a live rendition of “Pizzica di Sannicola.”
