Creative Chats! November 2026
Creative Chats! is an in-person gathering for people interested in creativity and creative work. Attendees can mingle, hear a featured conversation about creative life, and contribute their own thoughts to the discussion. The event is intended as an opportunity to find inspiration, reflect on one’s artistic path, and connect with other creative people.
The featured conversation, “Giving Yourself Permission to Be in Charge of Your Artistic Life,” will be led by Abigail Jean Lucas. Lucas is a Boston-based mother, actor, writer, director, and self-taught filmmaker who draws on her sales and marketing experience to support artist independence. Her debut short film, *Late Fall*, was independently developed from the ground up, including casting her son, and received a Jury Award while becoming eligible for Academy Award consideration.
