Hiss Golden Messenger

Hiss Golden Messenger brings its “I’m People Tour” to The Sinclair, led by North Carolina singer, songwriter, and producer M.C. Taylor. The long-running project is known for blending folk, country, soul, gospel, Americana, and roots music with introspective, poetic songwriting that connects personal experience to broader social and political themes. Sam Amidon is also scheduled to perform.

The forthcoming *I’m People* collection is described as a reflective set of songs about resilience, community, radical hope, and the everyday moments that shape people’s lives. Hiss Golden Messenger’s work has received critical acclaim and Grammy nominations, earning recognition for its warmth, emotional directness, craft, and storytelling.
