Harper Lee’s *To Kill a Mockingbird* comes to the Huntington Theatre in Aaron Sorkin’s stage adaptation of Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel. Set in 1934, the drama follows the principled lawyer Atticus Finch as he seeks justice for a man wrongfully accused, confronting the limits of his own virtue and the difficult possibility of forgiveness in a deeply divided society.

Directed by Huntington Artistic Director Loretta Greco, this production is the first regional staging of Sorkin’s adaptation and was created especially for Boston. The production revisits the enduring story with contemporary perspective, asking how far society has come—and how far it still has to go.
