Natasha Boutureira Exhibit Reception

Natasha Boutureira’s exhibit reception celebrates the opening of a new exhibition by the Caracas-born, Miami-raised visual artist. Her work examines the experience of living between cultures, drawing on Venezuelan family objects, photographs, memories, and the layered identity of growing up as a Venezuelan immigrant in Miami.

The exhibition explores belonging as an ongoing process of reconstruction. Boutureira combines digital manipulation, CMYK color, distortion, and language from her upbringing to blend inherited objects and secondhand memories with lived experience, creating images that feel both familiar and foreign.
