Britt Connors
Britt Connors brings an eclectic blend of soulful ballads, pop-rock, and gospel-infused Americana to Sanctuary. Her music reflects a wide range of influences, shaped by the folk, rock, and jazz she heard from her parents, the classical music of her grandparents, and the pop of 1980s and 1990s radio.
Connors studied vocal performance at Ithaca College before moving to Somerville to learn guitar, write her first songs, and establish herself in the Boston music community. She has released three albums—*The Bad Side of Good*, originally issued under her maiden name of Sawdon; *Warmer Season*, recorded as Britt Connors and Bourbon Renewal; and *Longitude*—as well as the six-song EP *Exhale*, released in 2024. Her band includes drummer Mike Connors, her husband and musical collaborator since 2008, along with several notable Boston musicians.
