Information Session for Adult English Learners
Are you an adult English learner seeking resources, support, and opportunities to practice? This informal information session with the Boston Public Library’s Literacy Services team connects attendees with an instructor and information about programs for adult English learners.
Participants can ask how to register for grammar classes, learn about free conversation groups for practicing speaking and listening, and get guidance about local resources and programs. The session is intended for questions and referrals rather than formal English instruction. The page also points learners toward ESOL literacy resources, Boston’s Adult Literacy Initiative, the Massachusetts Adult Education Help Desk, Mango Languages online learning software for library-card holders, and information about getting a library card.
