Joe Gittleman & Friends, Diablogato, Mark Lind

Joe Gittleman & Friends, Diablogato, and Mark Lind share a rock-focused bill at The Middle East’s Upstairs venue in Cambridge. The event features performances from Joe Gittleman & Friends and Diablogato, along with singer-songwriter Mark Lind, whose work draws from Boston’s punk scene and influences including Joe Strummer, Bruce Springsteen, and Paul Westerberg.

Mark Lind began performing in the Boston-area punk and hardcore community as a member of the Ducky Boys, which he formed with Jason Messina in 1995. He later worked with Sinners & Saints and Dirty Water, helped revive the Ducky Boys, and developed a solo career featuring the albums *Death or Jail* and the EP *Compulsive Fuck Up*. His music is generally more stripped-down and songwriter-oriented than his earlier band work.
