The War And Treaty

The War And Treaty brings husband-and-wife duo Michael and Tanya Trotter to The Sinclair for a soulful performance rooted in country, Americana, gospel, blues, and Memphis soul. Known for their powerful vocals and emotionally direct songwriting, the duo has earned nominations and recognition from the Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association, GRAMMYs, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Grand Ole Opry, and Americana Music Association.

Their latest work expands the group’s sound through collaborations with Whoopi Goldberg, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Wynonna Judd, and Valerie June. The material explores the meeting point between sacred and secular music, addressing love, heartbreak, sexuality, personal strength, domestic-violence survival, and the importance of honest emotional connection. The program also features support from Blank Page and Jordan Babbs.
