South Boston Garden Club Meeting & Plant Clippings Giveaway
The South Boston Garden Club’s November meeting features a plant-clippings exchange and giveaway. Attendees may bring home a clipping even if they do not have plants to share, making the meeting an opportunity to begin or expand a home garden.
Participants should bring their own container for transporting plants. The library cautions that plant clippings can carry pests, so they should be inspected and cleaned before being introduced to other plants. The event is presented in collaboration with the South Boston Branch Library, the Friends of the South Boston Public Library, and Spoke, a South Boston nonprofit arts organization.
