Fish Tales: Veterans

Fish Tales: Veterans is a live storytelling showcase presented by the Gloucester Writers Center for Veterans Day. Storytellers will share true, personal accounts by and about veterans, looking beyond military uniforms and traditional tributes to explore the human experiences of service, including change, connection, challenges, humor, and perspective.

The evening’s eight storytellers will reflect on how military service affected them at the time, how they understand those experiences years later, and how their service helped shape who they are today. The program offers an intimate look at military life and the lasting stories behind it.
