Gill Aharon Trio is a seated jazz and avant-garde performance led by pianist Gill Aharon. The group’s music draws on 1950s and ’60s cartoon scores, Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa, Bach, Ligeti, Medeski, Martin & Wood, live Phish, the Beatles, and the immersive possibilities of music.

Aharon’s approach emphasizes spontaneous collaboration rather than fixed arrangements. He describes the band as a group of musicians learning and playing together freely, valuing the fun and unpredictability of making music as a team.
