The Lilypatch - A FaMLE Concert

The Lilypatch is a concert by FaMLE, the Fabulous MIT Laptop Ensemble, an eclectic collective of electronic musicians who create music together. The ensemble’s members work in small groups each semester, exploring styles such as techno, experimental music, drum’n’bass, ambient, and hyper-pop.

This performance features three groups of experienced FaMLE members sharing new music while using the concert as an opportunity to improvise and experiment. The setup may include analog synthesizers, live coding, homemade electronic instruments, singing hard drives, and other unconventional software and hardware. The concert is presented under the direction of Ian Hattwick.
